How to Make Money Online From Home

Make $100+ Per Day Online

There are a ton of ways to make money online working from home. And if you’re sick of useless lists of 55 ways, 90 ways, or even 300 ways to make money online, then this is what you’ve been looking for.

Today, I’m going to show you only the legit, safe ways you can make at least $100 a day.

And I’m going to link you to resources so you can start doing whichever method you choose. Just so you know—none of the resources below are affiliate links. I don’t get paid when you click any of them.

But first, here’s a list of methods I do not recommend if you want to make significant money online:

  • Fill out surveys
  • Watch videos
  • Review products
  • Review apps and websites
  • Review music
  • Paid-to-click (PTC) sites
  • Peer-to-peer (P2P) money lending
  • Online surveys
  • “Free” matched betting
  • “Free” competitions
  • Gambling virtual gaming assets
  • Paid web searches
  • Websites that promise ‘get paid to shop’

But if you want to earn a dollar a day, be my guest—And that’s if you find a legit website.

Never believe marketing that promises you a ton of money for little to no work.

First, I’m going to give you 12 services that you can perform online and make at least $100 a day working from home.

Now, when you provide a service, you get paid only when you work. Stay with me, and later I will show you how to set up a system that pays you even when you don’t work.

When you perform a service online, you are either a freelance worker, a gig worker, an employed virtual assistant, or a virtual contractor

When you are a freelancer, you find your own clients and typically get repeat business when they like your work. For example, you might find a client via your own network, or you reach out to a company and ask for one-off projects that hopefully repeat themselves.

For an in-person work equivalent, think chauffeurs. You could get repeat work driving NBA teams around, but you may not get work every day.

When you are a gig worker, instead of finding your own clients, you usually connect with clients through a website or app and the website or app offers clients to you. The app takes a commission, but it’s the client who ultimately provides your paycheck for one-time jobs, not the app.

For an in-person work equivalent, think Uber drivers.

When you are an employed virtual assistant or a contractor virtual assistant, you receive a regular paycheck from a company just like if you worked physically at a brick and mortar except that you work from home online.

For an in-person work equivalent, think USPS delivery drivers.

While chauffeurs, Uber drivers, and USPS delivery drivers all drive a vehicle for a living, their income model is different.

The 3 Kinds of Remote Online Workers

Here’s what’s so cool: you can choose whatever option matches up with your knowledge, time, money, and other resources.

This is a list of services that can be done from home and will result in more money in your pocket so you can buy more than just a happy meal at a fast food restaurant.

1. Copywriting

Have you ever gone to Yahoo or other news websites? Most of those articles are written by freelance writers who work from home—not full time employees. Writers often have many clients and their own specialties. If you have a background in consumer electronics, you’re much more likely to get work from gaming companies. Such companies may come to you over and over to write for them.

2. Graphic design

Graphic designers are also high in demand. Projects can range from simple logo design to print brochures to online infographics. Here, you are likely doing both freelance and one-time gigs.

3. Coding

Websites and apps constantly have a need for this new set of skilled workers. Younger people learning this in high school have a leg up on this, but it’s never too late to learn to code.

4. Proofreading

If you have an exceptional eye for detail and native-level fluency of the language, this option could be for you.

5. Quality control testing

Websites, apps, video games, and more need testing. Quality control (or “QC”) testers have likely touched every single piece of software that you have ever come into contact with.

6. Skill-based coaching

If you have a particular skill-set, like physical training, you can become a contractor for companies that sell coaching services. If this sounds great to you but you aren’t particularly skilled, then nurture your skills and get great at one thing.

You can find work as a copywriter, graphic designer, coder, proofreader, QC tester, and as a skill-based coach on freelance websites like upwork and fiverr.

You can also find work on job sites like Indeed where companies broadcast their needs.

Fiverr Platform for Freelancers

Or you can set up your own website and advertise your services as an aficionado.

7. Language translation

Fluent in multiple languages? Use your untapped skills to earn bonus cash on the side. Popular resources include proz.com and atanet.org.

8. Teaching a language

Language teaching companies like Verbling and italki offer one-on-one language coaching. If you have that skill, you can be one of those online coaches.

9. Transcription

If you’re a wicked fast and accurate typer, consider typing what people say for cash. As a client, I’ve used rev.com for getting captions on Just One Dime videos, and you can find work there.

10. Therapy

You know the office with that one relaxing chair and a ton of books on the shelf? And the person sits there with the notepad says, “How does that make you feel?” Yes, that. You can do that online now.

Not all therapists are PhDs. You just have to become certified. Learn more at BetterHelp and Talkspace.

11. Life coaching

People will pay handsomely for a life coach who helps them create lasting strategies to improve their lives. Life coaches get involved in the nitty gritty of clients’ everyday lives including relationships, careers, fashion, and personal fulfillment. I recommend getting certified and training to become a life coach before you jump into the profession.

12. Tutoring

Some struggling students need one-on-one tutoring to help them reach their academic goals. You have a better chance to become a well-paid tutor when you have a degree and some sort of government teaching credential. Find resources here and here.

12 Services That You Can Perform Online and Make at Least $100 a Day Working From Home.

Those aren’t by any measure every single service that you can perform online.

More jobs are moving online than ever—especially since the pandemic started. If you have a deep set of knowledge and are highly skilled, then you can figure out a way to either work online freelance, get gigs, or become employed virtually from home.

Next, I’m going to give you 4 ways you can produce products working from home.

1. Craft commissioned handmade products

Have you ever gotten a caricature done of yourself? That art is a product that you commissioned to have someone else produce for you.

What is it that you can make? Oil paintings? Metallurgy? Wooden furniture? Get commissioned work on Etsy, Amazon Custom, or your own website.

2. Craft standardized handmade products

Perhaps you don’t want to do commissions. You can produce standardized products quicker than you can produce custom products.

When you standardize, you can probably lower your price and make your goods accessible to more people. If you market to your customer correctly and produce something with a high enough value, then you could make a killing. Etsy and Amazon Handmade are go-to options for selling handmade products.

3. Resell pre-made products

When you buy pre-made, pre-branded products at discounted prices from online and brick and mortar retail for cheap and then sell them online for a higher price, that’s called arbitrage

What’s great about arbitrage is that you are capitalizing on a brand that someone else has built. And you can do it from home online. Source multiple products from multiple brands, keep hustling, and you can earn serious bucks.

This is Eric Abbey 👇. He’s a former Just One Dime student whose hard work selling arbitrage products enabled him to buy a dream home for his family.

4. Streaming (non-replay-able)

If you stream live content that viewers want to watch, you can nurture an audience that will grow and love you. One of the highest paid streamers on the internet, Tyler “Ninja” Blevens, makes about $500,000 per month from streaming on Twitch alone. That’s not even counting his merch and sponsored ad deals.

Twitch Platform for Streamers

Live-streams give viewers a feeling of intimacy with the streamer, immediacy, and the sense of “FOMO” or “fear of missing out.” If the viewer misses the stream, then it’s gone. And even if the stream is recorded, it’s kind of like watching a recorded NBA game. If it’s not live, is it still fun?

4 Ways You Can Produce Products Working From Home

Finally, I’m going to give you 10 ways to make products where you can earn passive income.

—Including my favorite.

By passive income, I mean that you put in work upfront and then reap the rewards even while you’re not working. You can go on vacation and come back richer than when you left.

1. Write a book

You have traditional publishing where you or an agent can shop your book around at publishing houses.

You have self-publishing where you print and distribute your book on your own.

And you have self e-publishing where you publish your book solely in digital form.

E-publishing is a great way to get your book in the hands of buyers in literally minutes. Your book can be anything from a bundle of 12 recipes to 3,000 paged master novels. The length does not matter. Your short story can be 14 pages long, and people can buy it on Amazon Kindle. Keep in mind that if you go this route, get an editor and be sure to market your book.

2. Narrate audiobooks

When you narrate audiobooks, you can usually negotiate to either be paid a flat rate for each project, paid a percentage of the sales, or a combination of the two. The more experience you have, the better you’ll get paid. You can start at ACX or Findaway Voices.

3. Sell your digital photos

My favorite thing about the digital world is how scalable it is. You can reproduce a digital photograph, theoretically, an endless amount of times, and it won’t cost you any more money than it took to take that photograph. Stock photography companies like Shutterstock, Getty Images, and Adobe Stock will be happy to pay you for excellent photographs.

4. Sell your digital art

When you make digital art, instead of taking your brush to a canvas, you take your stylus to a computer pad. You can make your highly coveted digital art exclusive and set up an online store where your fans can pay you for access. As long as you grow your following, a piece of art can make you cash for years.

5. Sell software and apps

Find a problem that needs solving via software. Calendly did a mind-blowing job at this. They found one problem: people needed a way to easily book a meeting without it interfering with their schedule. As a result, Calendly earned $70 million dollars revenue in 2020.

You can create your own game. Some of the richest entrepreneurs on the planet developed their own software…or marketed other people’s software. But you don’t need to be one of the most downloaded apps on earth to make software development worth your while. And you might even get Facebook knocking on your door to buy you out.

6. Investing

You know about stocks. But have you heard of social investment networks or crowdfunded real estate investing?

When you are part of a social investment network, you learn from more experienced investors, and you can even collaborate with them to decide where you want to invest.

When you do crowdfunded real estate, you are also collaborating with others to specifically invest in real estate. For example, you buy a condominium jointly owned with other investors, rent it out, and sell it at a later date for a big return. Plant your money and watch it work for you.

But can investing really make you over $100 a day? Yes, if you put enough money in the right place.

For example, our team builds Amazon businesses for people with capital but who do not have the time to learn how to build an Amazon business. We call it “Done For You by Just One Dime”. We’re growing a store that has earned over $500,000 in the last 9 months at north of 50% margins. That is definitely more than $100 per day. If you are interested in this solid type of investment, apply here and the Just One Dime team will determine if this is right for you and your situation.

7. Create free evergreen content online

When you create content that is just as valuable a year after you created it, then you have created a passive income stream—That is, if you’ve found a good way to monetize it.

Entertainment and educational content have the best long term potential.

Where can you create free evergreen content?

  • YouTube
  • Blogs
  • Podcasts

How can you monetize your content?

Adsense and sponsored spots.

Adsense is when Google pays you for automated ads they run on your content.

For example, if you own a YouTube channel and get enough views, YouTube will place ads on your video (if you opt for monetization). You get a cut, and YouTube gets a cut.

Sponsored spots are when you make a deal directly with a company to advertise their product or service.

Sticking to the YouTube example, a YouTuber might promote an ad in the video for a sponsor’s shaving razors. Many YouTubers who make a full time living on YouTube rely mainly on sponsored spots for income.

When you get a viewer from your audience to buy based on your sponsored ad, and you earn commission, that is called “affiliate marketing”.

8. Paid memberships & subscriptions

It’s like creating evergreen content except that it’s behind a paywall. You could run your own website, but there are also several platforms that make this model seamless, including:

This model is great if you’re able to get your audience excited enough to pay for your digital art, courses, written content, photos, and/or videos.

9. Sell merchandise

You can sell your own branded merchandise like t-shirts and sweaters at very little risk with on-demand printing services like Teespring, Threadless, and Amazon Merch. That way, you’re not investing cash upfront for inventory. This works especially well for online personalities who are their own brand.

I’ve saved my personal favorite way to make money online for last:

10. Sell private label products online

When you sell private label products, you are providing buyers a valuable experience.

Remember arbitrage? There, you buy and resell products that a company like Rubbermaid has already made.

With a private label, you are creating your own brand.

Do you realize that the richest people on Earth are brand owners? Think Elon Musk. Think Jeff Bezos. Think Bill Gates. All brand owners.

When you build your brand online, not only do you de-risk yourself from the expenses of a brick and mortar, but the entire world is your market—not just the corner of First and Main Street.

This model is completely teachable and open to anyone willing to invest their time, capital, and effort to make it happen. You don’t need to be highly skilled or have a business degree.

I believe that the best way to do online private label is through Amazon FBA.

Here’s how Amazon FBA works:

  1. You pay a manufacturer to produce your products.
  2. You pay a shipping company to move your products directly into Amazon’s fulfillment centers.
  3. A shopper finds your listing on Amazon and clicks, “Buy”.
  4. Amazon fulfills the order by delivering the product directly to your buyer and handles customer service.

You never have to touch your product.

Once you have done the proper research, acted on that knowledge, and adjusted along the way, then you have set yourself up for passive income.

In fact, I would like to invite you to learn from Just One Dime. We will teach you exactly how to earn passive income selling Amazon FBA from A to Z at jod.com/freedom
